GRADUATE PROGRAMS

 

Ph.D. IN ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES

A Ph.D. degree in environmental biology may be obtained through the Environmental Sciences program at ASU.  Biology faculty advise doctoral research through this program.  Multidisciplinary program with courses from several departments and colleges.

 

M.S. IN BIOLOGY

An M.S. degree with a required thesis based on original research.  Faculty with expertise in ecology, genetics, botany, entomology, herpetology, zoology, cell and molecular biology, reproductive biology, microbiology and other fields advise student research.  Individual faculty should be consulted about their research programs.

 

M.S.E. IN BIOLOGY
A graduate program for people with a valid teaching certificate who wish to pursue an advanced degree with enhanced biology content.  All candidates for the M.S.E. must take PRAXIS II exam.
