Course Policies


Homework:
 

Assignments are due at the BEGINNING of class on the day specified in the course outline. Homework MUST be turned in before I complete the roll call or it is considered late. Late homework will NOT be accepted.

Homework MUST be presented in standard format. This includes a) statement of the problem (with a sketch), b) quantities with given values, c) quantities to be found, and d) solution of the problem.

Work MUST be done in pencil and MUST be neat and readable. Draw a box around the answer(s).

Your homework may not be graded unless you follow these guidelines.


Exams:
 

There will be 4 tests as indicated in the course outline. No make-up tests will be given. Any test missed will be graded a zero.

The lowest test grade will be replaced with the grade obtained on the final if it is higher.

Everyone must take the final as scheduled. (Wednesday, April 31 at 8:00)


Attendance:
 

The attendance policy set forth in the Student Handbook for a 2000 level course WILL be adhered to. Any student not present by the time I complete the roll call will be considered absent.
